There are many fun outdoor activities to be enjoyed at Ruttger's.  Our waterfront has a full complement of recreational boats for fishing or water sport.  Many are available FREE OF CHARGE to our guests. Complimentary boats include the kayaks, canoes, rowboats, and Sunfish sailboats. Our popular  Children's Program allows parents some worry free time for themselves.  If golf is your game there are several golf courses close by. Tennis anyone? the resort has two tennis courts and rental tennis equipment. Several times a week we host a family bon-fire right in front of the main lodge, or, for do it your selfers, we also have fire-pits spread out along the beach area in front of the cottages. Fire wood for private fires is available at a nominal fee. Please use the provided fire pits and not the beach.

• Paul Bunyan Playhouse, Minnesota's oldest professional summer theatre is downtown Bemidji.
