Nelson with 2 Walleyes
|
Northern Pike
is not the only fish in Lake Bemidji. The Minnesota
Department of Natural Resources rates Bemidji as one of the better
Walleye lakes in the state. On opening day thru mid June one
of the hottest fishing spots on the lake is right off the dock at
Ruttger's. As the season progresses the fish move into deeper
water from the dock, but good fishing spots are still easy to find
near the resort and in the Mississippi River across the lake.
Boats and motors are available at the resort dock. If you
really want to a catch a boat load of fish, we highly recommend
guide Paul Nelson.
Paul hosts guided trips on most lakes for
all species, including Walleye, Muskie, Bass, Northern, Trout, and
panfish. Please contact Paul directly to plan your guided
fishing trip.
